Speaking about the Earth Day special programmes,
Mr. Joy Bhattacharjya, Senior Vice President

India said, "At National Geographic
Channel we are guided by the National Geographic
Society's commitment to exploration, conservation
and education and it is our constant endeavour
to stay relevant and relatable to the world
we live in. Through our Earth Day Special
programming we hope to reach out to our
viewers and make them re-think about the
way we treat our fragile planet and inspire
them to act".
"The rapid change that our planet
is undergoing is an area of concern the
world over and each one of us has the opportunity
to make a positive impact on the environment.
Our endeavour is to raise awareness about
important environmental issues and motivate
viewers to find ways to help our planet",
he added.
As part of this Earth Day special initiative,
National Geographic Channel will present
a selection of its best environmental programmes
