Pushtie's
time out in Goa!! |
|
Remember Pushtie, the cute
actor from Kareena Kareena
and second season of Hum
Paanch. The actor whose
better known as Vrajesh Hirjee's
little sister has been out of
the TV circuit for a long time.
Reason being the Pushtie has
been in Goa trying to heal people
with Reiki and crystal therapy
besides also trying to shed
weight.
"I've been meditating
and taking care of my health.
Also healing people with the
therapies is helping me use
all my energy for the same.
I am planning to be in Goa till
April and continue with this.
Soon I'd be coming out with
my website also," chirps
Pushtie who has been in Goa
and Pune for the past few months.
So there's still time before
she comes back to the city of
dreams and gets on with some
serious acting!

| Surinder's
spreading spirituality! |
|
After doing itsy bitsy roles
on television (Yeh Dil Chahe
More and many more) and
films, model cum actor Kushal
Punjabi is all set to return
to the small screen.
The show in question is an
episodic for Star One's thriller,
Shhh Phir Koi Hai, to
be aired on 9 February, where
he plays a devil warrior who
comes to life after every 2000
years.
"In the show, my dead
body is kept inside a pyramid
which emerges and is traced
by a team of archaeologists.
It was a one episode role and
was too tempting to refuse.
I like to do such stuff because
it allows me to test new grounds
which are away from the glitz
of modelling world. I am looking
forward to more episodics in
future too," says Kushal,
once a winner of Best Physique
at the Gladrags..
If one goes by this telly hunk's
Bollywood profile, he has mostly
featured in spooky films like
Shhhhh and Kaal.
So can we make an assumption
that it's Kushal's forte at
this genre that draws him to
such projects?

Surinder's spreading spirituality! |
|
Surinder Kaur of Jassi
Jaisi Koi Nahi fame is a
motherly and spiritual figure
to maybe a dozen actors from
the telly land. The actor has
been preaching Buddhism, as
a way of life for the past fourteen
years and has introduced the
positive way of life to a host
of actors in the past.
"I've introduced Buddhism
to many people and it has become
a way of life for many. It gives
me a great sense of fulfillment,
joy and contentment to do so.
Also, it makes me feel like
I've contributed to someone's
life. Today, actors tend to
have job insecurity, along with
work pressure and immense financial
problems," points out the
elegant lady (currently seen
in Banoo Mein Teri Dulhan)
who has introduced Chandana
Sharma, Gracy Singh, Sveta Keswani,
Shweta Kawatra and Tisca Chopra
to the world of positivity and
Buddhism.
Here's hoping Surinder continues
to provide her words of wisdom
to the most insecured and helpless
telly brigade.

| Animals
distress Tarun! |
|
Tarun Khanna who plays Aditya
in Sahara One's Kuch Apne Kuch
Paraye and the legal shark Dhanraj
Singhania in Kulvaddhu, recently
shot for an episodic of Aahat
on Sony. In the show he plays
the role of Dipesh whose past
catches up with him and starts
haunting him. He is paired with
Aarzoo Gowatrikar in the show.
When contacted, Tarun did not
have any haunting stories to
narrate. Adds Tarun, "I
hear stories from every second
person about some freaky incident
happening to them. Even while
shooting, some of the co-stars
can't don't return alone in
the night. I find it funny because
once I'm done with the shot,
the scene and the story is out
of my head. I just look forward
to relaxing after hectic shoots."
So what scares him? "Animals"
comes the instant reply. "Animals
are something that scare me
because you don't really have
a control over them."
It seems Tarun is least of
an animal lover and he makes
no bones about it!! That's called
being forthright Tarun

SRK
lauds Shilpa's victory!
|
|
The entire nation is
going gaga over Bollywood
bombshell, Shilpa Shetty's
triumph in the house of
Big Brother. The media
is busy taking bytes from
her near and dear ones
about their reaction on
this good news. But does
anyone know what her first
ever co-star and the King
of Bollywood, Shahrukh
Khan (Baazigar)
has to say.
Here is SRK's take: "Oh!
She has…. that's really
great. She was one of
my first heroines and
I am very happy for her.
And now she is a world
class celebrity. It must
have taken her a lot of
courage to participate
in this show especially
because one has heard
about the wild things
that can happen in the
Big Brother's den.
Also, what I admire about
Shilpa is the fact that
she has been very graceful
about the racism issue
which was raked. What
I've heard is that the
lady who made those remarks
(Jade) has accepted her
mistake."
When queried about the
rising fever of reality
television, SRK explicated,
"Looks like people
in India are also getting
the taste of reality TV".
And what does he have
to say about Bigg Boss,
"Since I am too busy
with my shooting schedules,
I could not watch the
Indian version of the
Big Brother."
Now when Shahrukh too
has joined the bandwagon
of reality game shows
as the KBC host,
we hope someday he too
musters up the courage
to participate in Big
Brother! Can we ask
for me?
