Telly stars talk about KBC

The recent reports that KBC 3 is plummeting on its TRPs sounded quite contrary to King Khan's image. With the clout of his measure, everybody swore by the super success of the show when it was launched a fortnight before. To the extent that the rival channels reshuffled their programmes to meet the challenge posed by KBC 3. Now, the show seems to be a different story. With figures suggesting a downward trend in viewership, we ask our telly celebs whether they feel SRK has the same charm as Big B as a host. Some candid shots from their side as told to Ruhail Amin.

Ravi Kishan

I have watched a few episodes of the show and feel that it makes a good watch. Shahrukh has a huge appeal among the youngsters of today and to say the show is a sob story would be a pre-mature statement when the show has been on air for some weeks only. Now, if you ask me whether Big B or SRK is better, I would honestly say that both have their own appeal and one cannot compare the two.

Shruti Ulfat

Whereas SRK oozes high energy levels and is more youthful, Big B had that extra depth and a vast experience to rely on. The TRPs might be favouring one of them, but I think the two are very unique in their own ways.

Dimple Inamdar

I think KBC with Big B was more popular because it was a new idea at that time and there was a new excitement associated with the show. But, I equally enjoy watching SRK hosting the show. He makes it quite a fun to watch.

Vinod Singh

I have never liked any of SRK's films so far. But, to tell you the truth, after watching him host the KBC show, I just can't stop myself from liking his every act on the show. He has unleashed a new charm on the show and nobody can be immune to it.

Mouni Roy

Well, I haven't really watched the show that much. But, I feel the two people are quite different in their approach to hosting a show. If the TRPs are favouring only one among them, then that is a matter of audiences verdict and we have to accept the fact.
