Lubna Salim who is currently doing Hats Off’ Baa Bahoo Aur Baby has accepted one more serial from the same production house. Lubna has joined Hats Off’s Ek Packet Umeed which will start airing from 5th February. Lubna is very excited about her role and claims that the role is very different from that of Leela Bhabhi in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby.

Lubna says, “The serial is very interesting and we all have very interesting and real characters. Talking about my character it is entirely different from my character in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby. The show is very real and is not a hardcore airy or commercial kind. It is not over the top.” It is the first time that Lubna will be seen in such a role. She says, “My character’s name is Paroma and she looks after the finances of the N.G.O on which the track is based. The role and the track sound very different from what you are seeing on television.”

It seems the actress has generated a liking for the production house. Lubna reasons, “Hats off production always come up with new ideas. The production house is very innovative and this time round it is an experiment of sorts for both of us. I am trying something different with this role and also the production house is doing something different with this show as J.D Majethia is not repeating his trade-mark Gujarati backdrop in this serial. So I am looking forward to the show.”

The show is going to be a one hour show which will be telecast on Tuesday at 9.30 p.m.
