Aajaa Mahi Vay, a first of its kind reality show presents couples-in-love with an endearing opportunity – the chance to have dream wedding and you needn’t pay a single penny for it.

Before the action begins, we decided to unearth what dreams our dilwales (contestants) carry in their eyes.

Kabir Verma and Sejal Patel

We would like our dream marriage to be on the top deck of a cruise liner in the middle of Mediterranean ocean with all our family and friends. The liner should be beautifully decorated with candles, roses and live music.

Sunny Bindra and Neetu Wadhwa

We would love to get married in at least 11 different ways viz. Punjabi, Muslim, Christian, Bengali, Gujarati, Marwari. For every wedding, we’d like to serve food to the poor. The reception will take place on a cruise liner with family and close friends as guests But for the marriage, we only want each other’s parents.

Aslam Qureshi and Mayuri Chaddha

Our idea of a dream wedding is to take just our immediate family and closest friends for a week to a private island in Lakshadweep. The wedding experience will start right from the time we board our flight which will be a private jet. We will have functions for the first four days and the wedding will happen on the fifth day and then the two of us will take off for our first night in a small little private boat and spend the night in the middle of the sea, just me and her and nobody around us for miles, return back to our families by next afternoon, unwind for the next two days and come back home.

Sneha Manandi and Shergill Khan

We would love to get married with a big set up of Disney Land and the helpers will also be dressed as cartoon characters with plenty of excitement and variants. This is Sneha’s wish so her man Shergill is willing to go with it.

Kapil Verma and Shivani Thakur

We would want our dream marriage to happen in Shimla (Kufri) between the mountains and we want the marriage to take place in a typical Indian style.

Manit Joura and Manika Dhanda

Our dream wedding would be in complete Indian style but on an aeroplane as that particular moment holds a lot of significance in our lives and we would want to relive that moment. Aslo we would want our families to be present with us and the destination should be Bangkok where we all would enjoy after the wedding especially both of us.

Praveen Baby and Kiran Sharad

Our dream marriage would be on a snowy mountain where a mandap will be made decorated with candles and lots of flowers, only family members would be present.

Dawal Doshi and Greesha Divecha

We want to get married on a huge glass slab in the middle of the ocean with only close relatives and food would be catered on a separate boat moving around the glass lab. And the wedding would be Catholic so that Greesha gets to wear a gown.

Rezwan Sikander and Seran Leila

Our dream wedding would be in Hawaii, though in Muslim rituals but there’ll be a European touch to it where men would be dressed in a black tuxedo and women in white gowns.

Maanav Sharma and Rashmi Beadi

We do not want our dream marriage to be with pomp and show, our dream marriage would be a court marriage. After the marriage we’ll go to a Gurudwara with close family members and friends.

Jashan Kohli and Tahira Bhasin

Dreams are often illusionary; the moment we get up they are gone, so we don’t want a dream wedding rather a cream wedding which should be sweeter than cream itself. Our dream wedding would involve two basic ingredients- one would be our dream partner who happens to sit besides us for ever and secondly would be to celebrate our wedding with our family and friends in the mountains. Like the grand finale of this reality show we would like to celebrate our wedding in a grand manner just like that of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya’s. Everything should be based on some specific themes be it the dresses, food or the décor. It should be one of its own kinds, something people would never forget.
