With or without my partner

As more and more actors of the small screen fall in love and settle down in matrimony we wonder how they find ‘together’ time in a profession that is so demanding. More than often they do not end up working in the same serial and are compelled to put in long hours away from each other. Is it ideal to be in a relationship with someone from the fraternity? How is it working together? And when not working together how do they find time for each other?

Tellychakkar spoke to some of the actresses who have spouses in the same profession

Ravee Gupta (married to Manoje Biddvai)
Working with partner - Feels good and allows us to spend time together. I’m dying to work with my hubby

Working without partner - We have not yet worked together so it’s difficult to spend time together. We are both busy with our work and hardly get time to gel with each other.

Spending time together - We hardly get time to spend, as I’m busy travelling and juggling between the two shows.

Keeping in touch - I call him many times to say that I miss him.

Delnaz (married to Rajeev Paul)

Working with partner
- Its good fun as the level of understanding is better but at the same point the level of competition between the two is also there, which becomes a negative point

Working without partner - You definitely get less time with each other but then one needs to balance between personal and professional life.

Spending time together - After getting home I spend time with my hubby at the dinner table.

Keeping in touch - I keep calling him in the middle of the shoot. No sms now.

Gauri (married to Yash Tonk)

Working with partner
- I feel more comfortable while working with my hubby as I get more time to spend with him. We come together and pack up together.

Working without partner - Yes, sometimes we are not able to give enough time due to hectic work schedules but still try to catch up at dinner time.

Spending time together - After going home I put my daughter to sleep and then Yash and I catch up with few friends for dinner

Keeping in touch - I call him and sometimes give him surprise visits on the sets where he is shooting.

Gunjan Walia (married to Sachin Verma)
Working with partner
- I prefer not to work with my hubby as then there are so many issues that occur on the sets. I don’t want people to start talking so its better we don’t work together.

Working without partner - Well when I’m working I give my 100% to the work. I know I’ll meet him in the evening so I am ok.

Spending time together - We have breakfast and dinner together

Keeping in touch - I call him during my break and also sometimes sms him.
