My friend Ganesha

Life is full of problems and when humans fail to find a solution themselves, they always look up to the Almighty. It’s that time of the year when Ganesh bhakts look upon their vighnaharta (problem solver).to show them the way to ease their woes.

From tomorrow, devotees worldwide will only chant prayers of Lord Ganesha. After all, it’s Ganesh Chaturthi.

Tellychakkar caught up with a few celebs and asked that one problem they’d like the Vighnaharta to solve.

Rakhi Sawant

This year I would want Ganpati ‘The Vignaharta’ to save us from all terrorist activities. I would pray to the Lord that no terrorist activities like bomb-blasts and murders take place in Mumbai or any part of the country. Personally Lord Ganesha has given me everything and even if I have some unfulfilled dreams he will fulfill it as he knows what I wish to achieve. We celebrate the festival very religiously and I am a great devout of Lord Ganesha.

Renuka Shahane

God willing, there is no problem in my life but I’d like the Lord to bring about a change in the declining infrastructure and put an end to the chaos on the streets of Mumbai.

This time I will ask Lord Ganesha to ease the traffic in Mumbai and there should be more fly-overs or for that matter make us fly over. It’s not that I have not been asking Him for this but tomorrow I will ask him specially. I would pray to the Lord that if the traffic problem doesn’t get solved then bless me with the powers of Superman or Krish so that I can fly and reach my destination safe, sound and fast.

The only thing that I pray to the Lord is for peace in our country. We are making rapid progress as a nation but it’s important to have peace of mind too.

Neha Janpandit

I pray to the Lord to free our nation of poverty. My heart simply melts seeing the plight of the poor
