Imagine has decided to shuffle
it week day’s prime time band. The principal
change sees the winding up of Hats Off productions’
EK Packet Umeed. Tony and Deeya Singh’s
Radhaa
Ki Beityaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi
will now be a daily while there’ll be change
in timings for shows such as Dharam Veer
and Main Teri Parchhain Hoon.
Speaking
on their show, Aatish Kapadia of Hats Productions,
says, “It is wrong to say that the show
is going off air or it will be discontinued.
The show will wind up in its existing hourly
format. You can say that it’s like the end
of the first season. The show will continue
to telecast in its current format till September
end.
We’re in talks with the channel to return
with show again in a daily half hour format.
The characters will remain the same but
there will be a new story-telling. If these
talks materialise then you will see the
show again. However, it will take a month’s
time before there’s any development. ”
While Aatish maintained that the show isn’t
shutting down, actors Rupali Ganguly and
Suhas Joshi didn’t hesitate in saying that
that the show is indeed going off air and
the shoot has stopped for the time being.
With regards to the other changes on the
channel, a reliable source informs, “Radha
Ki Betiyaan.. is set to become a daily.
Dharam Veer will now telecast at
7.30 pm.
Chand Ke Paar Chalo
will launch on September 29 at 10.30 pm.
That would mean that Main Teri Parchhain
Hoon will be shifted to a different
time slot.”
Meenakshi Sagar, Creative Director of Dharam
Veer, too agreed that their show is
likely to witness a change in time. Rajshri
Productions’ Kavita Barjatya though denied
any rescheduling of Main Teri Parchhain
Hoon.
Programming Head, Imagine, Shailja Kejriwal
refused to comment on the changes.
